The Punjab Board announced the PSEB 10th result 2024 around 1:30 PM on April 18, 2024 (Thursday) through a press conference. The PSEB chairman Dr. Satbir Bedi announced the Punjab Board 10th result 2024 in front of the press. Along with the result, the PSEB 10th Toppers List 2024 was also revealed. PSEB 10th Toppers List 2024
The PSEB ended the curiosity of lakhs of students and declared the result and toppers list on April 18. Following the trend, the girls outperformed boys once again in the result as well as in the toppers list. All the top three ranks have been clinched by girl students. The board declared the names of these toppers along with their marks and school. The top three performers this year are Aditi, Alisha Sharma and Karmanpreet Kaur.
Aditi scored 650 out of 650 marks, a perfect 100% score. The PSEB Class 10th board exams were held this year from February 13 to March 6, with about 2.9 lakh students sitting for them. This year’s pass percentage, which is 97.24%, is little lower than it was last year (97.54%). During the result announcement, the PSEB also released several stats too, which has been given below.
Punjab Board 10th Toppers List 2024
Like last year, this year too, the Punjab Board 10th topper 2024, Aditi scored full marks (650 out of 650). The first two ranks (Rank 1 and Rank 2) have been secured by the student from the same school, Teja Singh Independent Memorial Senior Secondary School, Shimla Puri, Ludhiana. Both Rank 1 (Aditi) and Rank 2 (Alisha Sharma) students are classmates.

PSEB 10th Merit List 2024: Pass Percentage
The detailed information regarding the pass percentage of the PSEB class 10 result along with the merit list has been released after the result declaration. Both male and female applicants had strong performances, with the overall pass rate coming in at 97.24% in 2024. However girls outshined boys once again by getting the pass percentage of 98.11% against the boys’ pass percentage of 96.47%. The pass rate for transgender candidates is 90.91%. The pass percentage for urban regions is 96.60%, while the pass percentage for rural areas is 97.58%.

PSEB 10th Class Merit List 2024 From Sports Quota
A separate merit list of toppers is also released by the Punjab Board for the sports quota students. This is done to promote the spirit of sports among students. Punjab Board 10th Merit List 2024 District-Wise
In the year 2024, Amritsar stood as the best performing district with a pass percentage of 99.24%. Fatehgarh Sahib is the worst performing district this year with a pass percentage of 94.51%. Saloni from Mohali topped its district class 10th result while she achieved 12th rank in the state. Anu Kumari from the Government School Desu Majra secured second position from the Mohali district.
In the year 2023, Pathankot, Kapurthala, and Amritsar were the top three districts with the most pass percentage. In the last year, none of the top 3 toppers belonged to these districts.

PSEB 10th Result 2024 Merit List Subject-Wise
The Punjab School Education Board announce the result stats of each and every subject taught in the class 10 for which the board exam is conducted. The pass percentage and the top performers in each subject is announced by the board. The board also releases the PDF list containing the toppers list subject-wise on the board’s website. The PSEB 10th result 2024 stats subject-wise will be provided once it comes out.
In the previous year, the Mathematics subject recorded the highest pass percentage followed by Hindi and Social Science. The subject-wise result stats for the year 2023 is given hereunder.

PSEB 10th Toppers List 2022
Nancy Rani was the topper of the PSEB 10th class in 2022. Gurdaspur was the best performing district in the PSEB class 10 result in 2022. Despite having the same score, Nancy Rani and Dilpreet Kaur placed first and second, respectively, because Nancy was younger than Dilpreet according to PSEB regulations.
