The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the PSEB 5th Class Result 2024 Link on the Punjab board’s official website, pseb.ac.in. Students and their parents can now check their Class 5 scorecard by providing their name or roll number.

Earlier a day before, the Punjab board announced the Class 5 examination results via press conference. According to the PSEB 5th Class result 2024 stats, a total of 3,05,937 students passed the exam this year, for an amazing overall pass percentage of 99.84%. Dr. Satbir Bedi, the Chairperson of PSEB, announced the PSEB 5th Class Result 2024 during a press conference at the Mohali headquarters. This year’s passing percentage is 99.84 percent. This year, 3,06,438 students took the Punjab Board 5th exam, of which 3,05,937 passed.

Out of 1,44,653 female students who took the PSEB class 5th examinations, 1,44,454 passed, with a pass percentage of 99.86. Similarly, out of 1,61,767 males who took the exam, 1,61,468 passed, for a pass rate of 99.81 percent. All 18 transgender students who took the Class 5 Punjab board exams qualified. The PSEB board Class 5 exams took place over five days, from March 7 to 15, 2024 This year, PSEB announced the Class 5 result 2024 in a record time of 15 days. Approximately 3.5 lakh pupils have passed the PSEB Class 5 exams. Only those students who passed the Class 5 exams are advanced to Class 6.

Candidates who did not pass the Class 5 PSEB board exams will be required to take a supplementary exam. The PSEB Class 5 supplementary exam dates in 2024 will be released in schools or local media. The PSEB has confirmed that there will be no possibility of re-evaluation for Class 5 students.

It should be mentioned that the board will subsequently send the PSEB Class 5 marksheets to the individual schools, from which students will be able to receive printed copies of their result scorecards.

PSEB 5th Result 2024 Statistics

At the Press conference, the officials announced the exam statistics of the Punjab Board class 5 Exam. As per the official data, This year, 3,06,438 students took the PSEB 5th Class Exam, and 1,44,454 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 99.84 percent.

Out of 3,06,438 students who took the exam, 1,44,653 were female students, and 1,44,454 passed with a pass rate of 99.86 percent. A total of 1,61,767 boys appeared, and 1,61,468 passed. The boy’s pass percentage was recorded at 99.81%. Among the 18 transgender students who appeared in the Class 5 Punjab board exams, all of them qualified.
