The AISSEE 2025 registration for both classes 6 and 9 will end at 5 PM on Jan 23. The last date to submit the AISSEE 2025-26 application fees has been extended to January 24, 2025 (till 11:50 PM).
Earlier, the application was supposed to conclude on January 13. Candidates can register for the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2025-26 on the official website: exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/. The direct link to fill the AISSEE application form 2025-26 is shared below along with the revised dates.
Sainik School Admission 2025
The AISSEE admission form 2025-26 for class 6 and 9 is now active until January 23. The NTA has provided a golden chance to many students by extending the registration period. The application fee for AISSEE 2025 is ₹800 for candidates belonging to the general, OBC-NCL, defence, and ex-servicemen categories. For candidates belonging to SC and ST categories, the exam fee is ₹650.

How to Fill AISSEE 2025 Application Form
The steps used in filling out the Sainik School online application form have been given hereunder.
Step I: Go to the official site of the National Testing Agency, which is https://aissee.ntaonline.in.
Step II: On the main page, find the link that reads “Application form for AISSEE 2025” and click it.
Step III: The Sainik school application form for 2025 will now display on the screen; complete all the required information.
Step IV: Submit the payment for the Sainik school form fees, as prescribed by NTA
Step V: Once you have completed all the information and the fees for the application form, press the submit button.

Who Can Apply for Sainik School Admission 2025
All students are encouraged to verify the Sainik School Admission Eligibility 2025 prior to submitting their online AISSEE Sainik School application form. Based on the Sainik School Admission Eligibility 2025 criteria, which include minimum age and educational qualifications. The eligibility requirements for admission to Sainik School, as outlined in the official notification, are detailed below.
- The age limit is extended by one year for the children of active members of the Indian Armed Forces and Paramilitary Forces.
- A two-year extension in the age limit is provided for the children of war widows and disabled veterans.
- The age limit for SC/ST students has been extended by three years.
Sainik School Admission 2025 Class 6 Eligibility Criteria
- Students aged 10 to 12 are eligible to apply for enrollment in Sainik School for the 6th grade.
- Students who wish to apply for the Sainik School Examination 2025 must be enrolled in Class V at an accredited school.
Sainik School Admission 2025 Class 9 Eligibility Criteria
- Boys aged between 13 and 15 years can seek admission to Sainik School for the 9th class.
- Students who wish to apply for the Sainik School Examination 2025 must be enrolled in an accredited school in Class VII.
Documents Required for AISSEE 2025-26 Admission
In order to avoid last-minute difficulties when completing the application, students who wish to apply for Sainik School Admission 2025–2026 must have specific documentation on hand. All of the documentation needed to complete the AISSEE Application Form 2025 are listed below:
- Scanned images of the Student’s photograph
- Student’s signature
- Student’s left-hand thumb impression
- ID proof such as an Aadhaar card
- Domicile certificate
- Birth certificate
- Transfer certificate
- Certificate of service (for Defence category-serving) and PPO for ex-servicemen (if applicable)
- Certificate certifying that the applicant is studying in the approved new Sainik School
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Credit/debit card to make payments
- Medical fitness certificate
Instructions on Uploading of scanned images
Candidate’s Photograph: to be uploaded
• Passport size Photograph (size: 10kb to 200kb) in JPG format.
• The photographs must be taken on or after 1st July 2023 preferably indicating clearly the name of candidate along with the date of taking the photograph. Photograph should not be with cap or goggles. The focus needs to be on face (80% face coverage, ears clearly
visible, on white background)
• Spectacles are allowed only if being used regularly.
• Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not acceptable.
• Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.
• Application without photographs shall be rejected.
• The photographs need not be attested. Candidates are advised to keep 6 to 8 passport size and colour photographs with white background.
• Candidates may note that if the photographs uploaded are found to be fabricated or defaced or seem to be hand-made or computer made etc, the application of the Candidate will be rejected and the same will be considered as using Unfair Means (UFM) and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly.
• In case someone else’s or unrelated photographs have been uploaded, the candidature shall be cancelled and the case will be considered as using UFM. Criminal action as per laws of the country shall also be initiated.
Candidate’s Signature: to be uploaded
• The candidate should put his/her full signature in running hand writing not in capital letter on white paper with Black Ink pen and scan for uploading.
• File size must be between 4kb to 30kb in JPG format.
• Online Application Forms without uploaded signatures will be rejected.
• In case someone else’s signature has been uploaded, the candidature shall be cancelled and the case will be considered as using UFM. Criminal action as per laws of the country shall also be initiated.
Candidate’s left hand thumb impression: To be uploaded
• A candidate should affix his/her left-hand thumb impression on white paper with Blue Ink and scan for uploading. File size must be between 10kb and 50kb in JPG format. Further, unclear left hand thumb impression in online application forms will also be rejected.

a) Written Exam
