Gandhi Jayanti is held every year on October 2nd to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday. The day is commemorated as a public and bank holiday throughout the country.

Maha Navmi Holiday 2024

Maha Navami marks the end of the nine-day Navratri festival. On this day, several different manifestations of the Goddess Durga are worshipped. On October 12, 2024, schools will be closed to observe the momentous occasion.

Dussehra 2024 School Holidays

Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, is one of the largest Hindu festivals in the country. Dussehra commemorates the victory of good over evil, specifically Lord Rama over demon king Ravana. According to the Hindu calendar, it falls on the tenth day of Ashwin. It is celebrated at the end of Navratri, therefore the date varies each year. This festival will take place on the 10th of Kartik, according to the Hindu calendar. In 2024, it falls on October 12th, which is declared as school holiday in most of the states.

UP School Holiday List 2024

The Uttar Pradesh Education Board has posted the official School Holiday List 2024 on its official website. According to the School Holiday List 2024 Uttar Pradesh, there will be 118 school vacations for children. Academic activities have taken up 53 of the remaining working days, with exams accounting for 15 of them. Summer break will last 41 days, starting May 21 and concluding June 30.

Bihar Government Calendar 2024

The Bihar Department of Education has issued the Bihar Govt vacation calendar 2024, which will apply to schools across the state. The Bihar Education Department has constructed the holiday calendar to meet the RTE criteria of 220 teaching days.
