SLAT 2025 Exam Date

Through the Symbiosis Law Admission Test, or SLAT Exam, SIU-affiliated colleges offer admission to BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) courses . As per the Notification, The SLAT 2025 exam will be administered twice, as Test 1 and Test 2, on December 13, 2024 and December 15, 2024, respectively, at test centers designated by SIU.

The exam will be administered using a computer-based test format. The test lasts 60 minutes and consists of 60 multiple-choice questions for 60 points. Based on their SLAT scores, qualified candidates must subsequently sit for a Personal Interview (PI) and a Written Ability Test (WAT).

What is SLAT Exam?

Symbiosis International University administers the SLAT 2024 exam for admission to undergraduate law degrees offered at its several constituent universities. The SLAT 2025 exam score will be used to admit students to Symbiosis International University’s five-year LLB programs offered at its four member law faculties. The constituent law colleges are Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Nagpur.These universities provide BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) programs after choosing candidates using SLAT 2025 and personal interviews.

SLAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The Symbiosis Law University determines the eligibility conditions for taking the SLAT exam each year. Only students who meet the eligibility requirements may apply for the SLAT exam. The SLAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria are provided below.

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have completed Class (10+2) from any recognized state or national examination board.
• Minimum Qualifying Exam Marks: Candidates must have received at least 45% or comparable grade (40% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).
• Age Limit: No age limit is applicable for this exam.

How to Fill SLAT 2025 Application Form?

The SLAT application and registration forms were made available on the Symbiosis Entrance Test Authority’s official website, set-test.org. To complete out the SLAT application form 2025, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the official website: www.set-test.org.
Step 2: Click the “New Registration” button.
Step 3: In the registration form,enter your basic information, academic information, mobile number, and email address.
Step 4: Pay the registration fee to finish the SLAT registration process.
Step 5; Log in again with the SLAT ID and password that you received via SMS and email after completing the registration.
Step 6: Now, complete the SLAT application form by providing the detail such as educational qualification, exm center choice and others details
Step 7: To finish the application procedure, pay the SLAT institution fee for the SLS or SLSs to which you wish to apply.
Step 8: Download and Take a printout of the submitted application for further reference

Applicants must submit an application form and pay the required cost. To apply for the SLAT 2025, candidates will need to pay two sorts of fees. SLAT Exam Syllabus

The SLAT exam comprises five areas from which questions are asked. The five areas are: logical reasoning, legal reasoning, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension, and general knowledge.
Candidates wishing to take the SLAT exam must be familiar with the SLAT syllabus 2025. The complete syllabus for the SLAT exam is provided below.

SLAT 2025 Exam Pattern

The SLAT 2025 exam will be administered online (Computer Based Test) at various exam centers across India. The SLAT exam will include 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The examination will last one hour, or 60 minutes. The overall mark for the exam will be 60. The test will have five portions. The detailed exam pattern is shown below.

SLAT Exam- WAT and PI

After achieving the required cut-off in the SLAT 2025 exam, candidates will have to appear for further admission processes. The next rounds are WAT (Writing Ability Test) and PI (Personal Interaction) or Studio Test and Personal Interaction (ST-PI). The SLAT law schools that are taking part in the admission process will hold separate PI/WAT or ST-PI rounds.

Candidates who are applying to multiple law schools need to make sure they show up for each law school’s PI/WAT or ST-PI rounds. In the SLAT selection procedure, the combined weight of the PI/WAT or ST-PI round is 30%. While the writing skill of the candidates is tested in the WAT round, their personalities and interests will be evaluated in the PI round. Candidates will have to attend all the rounds (PI/WAT/ST-PI) to become eligible for the merit list.

SLAT 2025 Selection Process

The admission exam is just one part of the selection procedure; the other is the WAT (writing ability test)/PI (personal interaction) or Studio Test and Personal Interaction (ST-PI). The final merit list will be based on the SLAT exam and Personal Interaction (PI) score. The SLAT entrance exam has the biggest weightage in the selection process, at 70% (70 marks). The weightage of PI is 30%. The SLAT entrance marks of 60 will be adjusted to 70 to construct the merit list. Further, depending on the scores of SLAT, PI, and WAT, the merit list is generated for admission to respective Symbiosis law schools.
