The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) finally declared the NSO Results 2024-25 for Classes 1 to 10 on January 2.  Students who attempted the National Science Olympiad (NSO) Level 1 exam can get their Science Olympiad Scorecard shortly at the official website. SOF NSO Results 2024-25

Candidates who took the test can enter their roll number in the login window to check the marks. The National Science Olympiad exam is conducted in two phases – Level 1 and Level 2. Students who meet the minimum cut-off in NSO level 1 will be entitled to sit the level 2 exam after the nso results 2024-25 are released. In addition to scholarships, students who pass the NSO level 2 exam will receive additional perks as a reward for their academic performance.

NSO Results 2024-25 Level 1 Date

According to recent update, the NSO result 2024-25 is now available at https://results.sofworld.org/results. The results are revealed four weeks following the exam date. The NSO 2024 level 1 exam was conducted on December 3, 2024. Last year, the results of 2023 were announced on January 4. Candidates can consequently expect this year’s results to be released around the same time.

Who Can Take the NSO Exam?

Qualification for Level 1 Exam – Students in classes from 1 to 12 are able to participate in the first-level Olympiads. Students in class 2 and up are eligible to compete in the National Cyber Olympiad at the first level.

Minimum Marks Required – There are no other eligibility criteria, such as minimum marks.

Qualification for Level 2 Exam – Students that qualify for the second level exam include.

• The top 5% of students in each class take the first-level exam.
• State-wise top 25 rank holders by class,
• Class toppers from each school, where at least ten students from a class take the exam and achieve 50% qualifying marks.

NOTE- Students in classes 1 and 2 are not required to take the Science Olympiad 2nd level exam and are rated according to their performance in the level 1 exam.

Which is harder NSO level 1 or 2?

The syllabus for Science Olympiad Level 2 is the same as Level 1, but the difficulty level is higher in the Level 2 NSO exam. The level 2 question patterns are significantly more challenging and tricky. It is critical to prepare thoroughly for level 2 exam for better marks.

NSO Cutoff 2025

The Science Foundation for Olympiad will post the NSO Cutoff 2024 for Round 1 on its official website. Only students who meet these cutoff marks will be called to take the Level 2 exam. Students must first examine the results using the NSO answer key, and then compare them to the official NSO Cut off 2024. Once announced, we will update the NSO cutoff for 2024-25 below. Students can now see the last year’s cutoff.

NSO Results Prizes

Participants of the SOF National Science Olympiad Exam will receive a variety of NSO awards and scholarships for 2024-25. These include international, zonal, and school topper prizes for grades 1–12.

• The top three international rank holders will receive cash rewards, medals, and certificates, while zonal and school-level winners will also be honored.
• Schools and educators are also recognized for their contributions to student progress, receiving honors and scholarships at the worldwide, zonal, and district levels.
• Principals and instructors receive appreciation certificates and presents for their dedication and efforts.

How to Check SOF NSO Results 2024-25 Level 1?

Candidates who took the National Science Olympiad level 1 exam can check their NSO results online. They can follow the steps provided here –

Step 1: Visit the official website, sofworld.org.
Step 2: Go to the ‘NSO 2024 Results’ section on the homepage.
Step 3: Now, select the Olympiad you have taken and submit the roll number.
Step 4: NSO Result 2024 will be displayed on the computer screen.
Step 5: View and Download the NSO Scorecard.
Step 6: Take a printout of the scorecard for future reference.
