SOF Result 2024-25

The SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) exam is a competition in which students from grades 1 through 12 can demonstrate their knowledge of areas such as science, math, English, and computers. The exam has two levels. Level 1 is for all students in classes 1-12, and kids in Classes 3-12 who pass Level 1 can go to Level 2.

The SOF conducts the NSO, IMO Level 1 Exams in the months of October, November, and December with around 10 lakh students registered, SOF will issue participation certificates and Student Performance Reports (SPR) to schools based on SOF 2024-25 results. After the SOF exam results are revealed, students will receive awards and prizes at their respective schools based on their rankings.

SOF Result 2024-25 Dates

SOF Olympiad 2024 results are typically released within 6-8 weeks of the completion of the exam. Thus, the Science Olympiad level 1 results for SOF NSO, and SOF IMO will be announced in the first week of January 2025. On the other hand, the SOF Olympiads having only levels such as NCO, IHO, and ISSO will be released in February 2024. For the subject-wise SOF Olympiad result dates, refer to the table below.

SOF IMO Results 2024-25 Date

The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) will announce the International Math Olympiad Result 2024-25 for level 1 in first week of January 2025. The official IMO Result date is yet to be released. The SOF Results 2024-25 IMO for sets A, B, and C will be released on the same date on the official website: results.sofworld.org.

The SOF International Mathematical Olympiad Level 1 exams were held on October 22, November 19, and December 12, 2024.  Level 1 qualifiers are entitled to take the lMO level 2 tests, which will be held in February 2025. The online mark sheet for the International Mathematics Olympiad will include students’ marks, rankings, names, roll numbers, and other relevant information.

SOF NSO Results 2024-25

The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) will tentatively post SOF results for the NSO level 1 in January 2025 on the official website, results.sofworld.org. SOF National Science Olympiad (SOF NSO) level 1 examinations were held on Friday, October 18, November 12th, and December 3rd.

All candidates who passed the NSO 2024 level 1 test are eligible to take the NSO 2025 level 2 exam. The NSO level 2 examination will be held in February 2025.

Students in grades 3 through 12 who pass the level 1 exam with a minimum passing grade will be eligible for level 2. International and zonal topper prizes are given to NSO level 2 rank holders. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded to the top students in their classes.

How to Check www.sofworld.org Results 2024-25 Level 1

Students or their parents who are looking for the process to obtain the SOF IMO results may refer to a few simple steps described below.
Step 1: Visit the official website: sofworld.org results.
Step 2: On the homepage, Click on the link labeled “Level 1 SOF results 2024”
Step 3: Upon clicking A new login window page will load as shown below.

Step 4: Select the appropriate exam from the SOF Olympiad results 2024 drop-down list.
Step 5: Enter the student’s roll number using the proper format.
Step 6: To see the results, enter the captcha code and then click View Results.
Step 7: The online scorecard of the SOF 2024-25 results will be displayed.
Step 8: Download and Take a printout or screenshot of the result PDF for future reference.

Within a few days, along with the results, a Student Performance Report (SPR) is sent to schools, providing a detailed analysis of performance across different sections and levels (school, zonal, and international).

SOF IGKO Results 2024-25 Released

The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) successfully administered the International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO) level 1 exam on September 19, October 4, and October 15, 2024. The SOF results for IGKO were released. Students who took the exam can view their SOF IGKO Results 2024-25 on the official website results.sofworld.org. by entering their roll number in the prescribed format (School Code – Class – Section – Roll No).

SOF IEO Results 2024-25

The Science Olympiad Foundation has issued SOF IEO level 1 results for Classes 1-12 on December 16. The SOF IEO result 2024-25 for sets A, B, and C is now available on the official website, sofworld.org, and students will need their roll number to see the IEO results for Classes 1 through 12.

Along with the results, the foundation will release the IEO cut-off for classes 3 to 12. The selected students of Class 3 to 12 will be eligible for the second level exam to be held in February 2025.

Student Performance Reports (SPR) for SOF 2024-25 Results

Following the release of SOF performance 2024-25, schools will receive Student Performance Reports (SPR), which provide a detailed analysis of students’ SOF exam performance. The SPR for SOF results 2024 will provide the following information:

• Student’s Details: This section includes student personal information including their name, roll number, class, and school name.
• Exam Details: This section contains information on the Olympiad exam taken, including the name (e.g., IMO, NSO, NCO) and year.
• Performance metrics:
  • Obtained Score: The student’s total score on the exam.
  • International Rank: The student’s ranking among all international exam takers.
  • Zone/State Rank: The student’s ranking within a given zone or state.
  • School Rank: The student’s ranking inside their school.
  • Qualified Status for Level 2: Indicates whether the student has qualified for the following level of the Olympiad, if applicable.

SOF Olympiad Results 2024-25 : Awards

After the release of SOF Olympiad Results 2024-25, students will be awarded/provided scholarships depending on their school, zonal, and international ranking. School principals and instructors will be honored with cash awards/scholarships, trophies, presents, and citations based on their schools’ success at the international, zonal, and district levels. An awards ceremony may be held to honor the international top three rank holders. Due to logistics and other issues, only a few awardees/winners may be invited to the awards ceremony. Other winners’ awards and scholarships will be given to their schools.

The following awards/scholarships will be offered to the winners of Olympiads taking place during the academic year 2024-25.

• For NSO, IEO, and IMO Second-level champions will get International and Zonal topper awards/scholarships for classes 3-12. Since classes one and two are single-level exams, first-level winners will get international and zonal topper honors and scholarships. All first-level test winners will get class topper awards/scholarships.
• For IGKO, ICSO, ICO, IHO, and ISSO exams, First-level winners will get International and Zonal topper awards/scholarships because these are single-level tests. Class topper awards/scholarships will be awarded to the highest rank holders in each class (including all sections) of a school based on criteria. Each winner will get one exam-related award/scholarship. The winners will only get the higher-level award/scholarship. Awards/scholarships earned by them for Zonal ranks will be given to the next rank holder. Similarly, any school award/scholarship received by a Zonal award/scholarship winner will be given to the next rank holder.

What After SOF Exam Results 2024-25 Level 1

After the results of SOF Level 1 (2025) are announced, here’s what usually follows:

Qualification for Level 2 (if applicable):
Students who achieve a high rank in Level 1 exams like the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), Science Olympiad (NSO), or others, will be eligible for Level 2.
Qualification criteria usually depend on:
Top 5% of students per class.
Top 25 rank holders at the school level (minimum participation required).
School/Class toppers in case of tie-breaks.
Preparation for Level 2 (if qualified):
The syllabus for Level 2 is usually based on the same curriculum but includes higher-level questions.
Focus on speed and accuracy while revising concepts.
Prizes and Recognition:
SOF awards certificates, medals, and scholarships to students based on their performance in Level 1.
Even if a student doesn’t qualify for Level 2, participation certificates are given to all.
Reviewing Performance:
Students should analyze their performance in Level 1 to identify areas of improvement.
This helps in better preparation for upcoming exams.
Other Opportunities:
SOF Level 1 participants can use their rankings and performance as a benchmark for future Olympiads or competitive exams.
