Shri Ram College of Commerce popularly known as SRCC was founded as a commercial college. DU SSRC is affiliated with Delhi University. SRCC, Delhi is ranked 19th by the NIRF in 2024.  There are 8 academic departments in SRCC Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Hindi, Political Science, and a few others. The SSRC Admission 2024 is ongoing and the second round of Delhi’s Second UG CSAS allocation list will be released on August 25, 2024.

SRCC Delhi Admission 2024

NAAC has accredited SRCC Delhi with an A+ grade. Students can take undergraduate, graduate, and Diploma courses at Shri Ram College of Commerce Delhi, which has eight departments. In the Undergraduate curriculum, the college offers B.A and B.com. B.A course and for Postgraduate level M.A and M.Com courses are offered. The SRCC Delhi admissions going on the official website, du.ac.in or admission.uod.ac.in. Delhi University announced its first UG CSAS allocation list on August 16.

DU Shri Ram College of Commerce: Highlights

DU SRCC was founded as a commercial college. The college’s history begins in 1920, when seven notable industrialists, led by Sir Shri Ram, formed the Commercial Education Trust in Delhi. Following its connection with the University of Delhi, it became known as Shri Ram College of Commerce.

NAAC has accredited Shri Ram College with an A+ grade. Students can take undergraduate, graduate, and value-added courses at SRCC Delhi, which has eight departments. These courses are available in Economics, Commerce, and a variety of other areas.

Shri Ram College of Commerce offers two UG and PG courses and one PG Diploma course.

• B.A. (Hons.)

Duration: three years.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks.

• B. Com (Hons.)

Duration: three years.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must pass the 10+2 level with 45% in aggregate.

• M.A.

Duration: 2 years.
Eligibility criteria: Students must have completed graduation in related subjects.

• M.Com:

Duration: 2 years.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must complete a Bachelor’s degree in related subjects.

• Postgraduate Diploma in Global Business Operations

Duration: two years.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must pass graduate in related disciplines.
Selection: Sit for the Entrance Exam, followed by GD and PI.

SRCC Admission Process

• SRCC Admission 2024 is currently open on the official website. BA (Hons) Economics and B.Com (Hons) courses recognize CUET UG results. SRCC accepts CUET PG for admission to the MA and M.Com programs.
• The college uses Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (DU CSAS) to admit students to all undergraduate and graduate courses.
• The NTA conducts the CUET UG in March and the CUET PG in May/June each year. Results are given within a month of the exam’s completion.
• Afterward, aspirants must register for the DU CSAS (UG & PG) registration process and select SRCC and available courses as their preferred options. Delhi University provides the seat allotment results in many rounds in accordance with the preferences and reservation criteria.

SRCC Courses and Fees 2024

SRCC Delhi’s Fee structure consists of several components, including tuition, hostel fees, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, and so on. SRCC Delhi fees vary depending on the course or specialization chosen by the students. The following table shows the total tuition charge for all SRCC Delhi courses.

Note – SRCC Delhi charges some components once, but others, such as tuition fees, must be paid semester by semester.

SRCC Placements 2024

SRCC Placements 2024 Phase 1 has been finished, with over 160 placement offers. 44 top recruiters participated in the first phase of the Placement Drive.

• 1007 students participated in the Placement Drive. There were 800 students enrolled in the B.Com (Hons) program and 207 in the BA Economics (Hons) program.
• Some of the top recruiters include McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Deutsche Bank, AB InBev, and Accenture Strategy.
• During SRCC Placements 2024, the average package was INR 10.15 LPA, with the maximum package at INR 35 LPA.
• Placements for the year 2024 are underway. Phase 1 for class 2024 has finished, with an average pay package of INR 12.73 LPA and a maximum package of INR 35 LPA.
• During the SRCC Summer Internship Placements 2024, the highest monthly salary granted was INR 3.67 lakhs.
• Several new recruiters, including A&W Capital, Blackstone, Elevar Equity, Groww, and many others, participated in SRCC Placements 2024.

SRCC Ranking 2024

SRCC Delhi has been placed at Rank Rank #19 by the NIRF 2024 under the ‘Colleges’ category considering the aggregate score. They provided parameters such as Faculty Quality Weightage and Employability Weightage, the college is ranked well when compared with other universities.

In 2023, SRCC Delhi climbed 1 rank to #11 rank in the ‘Colleges’ category by the NIRF ranking. In the ‘Colleges’ category, SRCC Delhi ranked in the top 50 in the country for the 3rd consecutive year in 2023.

Shri Ram College of Commerce is located across 16 acres of land. Shri Ram College of Commerce provides a variety of facilities for undergraduate and postgraduate students. This college including smart classrooms, a canteen, transit options, and more. The college features a large library and several other amenities for students.

• Library
  Shri Ram College of Commerce’s library has 74000 books and a subscription to 80 international and national periodicals, magazines, and daily newspapers. The library employs the Library Management Software (LMS) ‘LibSys’. The library is well-equipped with modern facilities and resources (both print and electronic) such as CDROMs, DVD-ROMs, video cassettes, books, periodicals, and so on.
• Hostel
  Total Boys Hostel total beds are 150. Also Shared Rooms facility available. Off-Campus Hostel is also present, Total Girls Hostel total beds are 53.
• Sports Facilities
  SRCC boasts cutting-edge sports facilities, including an indoor stadium for multiple sports and a large green open field. The center court is made of high-quality maple wood. The seating for 1200 people is evenly divided and designed to provide the finest view of the action from any location. Players have access to extensive changing rooms and showers. In addition, the stadium includes a separate room for chess and table tennis.
