Why the Kerala Supplementary Exam called Exam 2?

Starting from the academic year 2023-24. the Karnataka government approved the Karnataka State Examination and Assessment Board to conduct three annual exams for Class 10 (SSLC) numbered 1, 2, and 3, eliminating the supplementary exam.
