Practice Problems for Multiplication Table of 26

Example 1: Suppose you have 26 cupcakes.  You can have 13 of them in a day. In how many days will you finish having all the cupcakes?

Ans: You have a total of 26 cupcakes. If you have 13 if them in a day, you will complete having all of them in 26 ÷ 13 days which is 2 days.

Example 2: Suppose you have 26 pencil boxes. Each box contains 1 dozen of colored pencils. Calculate the number of colored pencils in the boxes.

Ans: Each box contains one dozen pencils. One dozen equals to 12 pencils. So 26 pencil boxes will have 26 * 12 pencils, which is 312 pencils.

Example 3: A man walks for 200 m everyday. In 26 days, how many meters will he cover?
