The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations, TN DGE, has announced the TN SSLC final exam 2024 result today, on May 10, 2024 (Friday) at 9:30 AM. The TN SSLC pass percentage this year stood at 91.55%. The Tamilnadu SSLC theory examinations were held from March 26 to April 8, 2024 at 4107 exam centers.

The Tamil Nadu DGE has announced the performance of different districts and schools. Like the last year, this year too, the TN DGE has not announced the official SSLC toppers list. Prithviraj P of Tirunelveli district has secured the top rank (sslc state first mark 2024) by scoring 497 marks out of 500 (99.4%)

Nonetheless, the girls’ performance has slightly decreased from 94.66% previous year. An impressive total of 4,105 schools have achieved a 100% pass rate in Tamil Nadu 10th SSLC board exam out of which 1364 are government schools.

The Tamil Nadu board has not released the names of the top-scoring students since 2018. However, as per the sources, Hema. H with 98.4% in bagged the first rank in Tamil Nadu 10th class 2023. The other top rank belonged to Monica S, who secured a total of 486 marks out of 500. The board officially declares the highest pass percentage-registering city or district names are declared. The DGE claims that the action is intended to lessen the unhealthy competition. In 2023, Perumbalur was the best performing district.

What After TN SSLC Marks and Percentage Released?

After the release of marks and percentage, students who do not score the qualifying marks (35 out of 100) will have to appear for the supplementary exam. On May 11, registration for the supplementary examinations will open. Students can apply for re-evaluation between May 15 and May 20. The re-examination is scheduled for July 2.

Students who passed the SSLC board exam will get their provisional marksheet. The provisional Marks Certificate for Tamil Nadu 10th class students will be issued from May 13.
