Telangana ICET Result 2024 Passing Marks

Students in the general/UR category must receive a score of 25% to be qualified for the TS ICET 2024 counseling session. The reserved category applicants who took the TS ICET 2024 have no qualifying TS ICET cutoff. Students from the reserved category who received 0 points on the TS ICET exam are given a rank according to their age. In these situations, the older student will receive a higher rank. Telangana MBA admission is not guaranteed by meeting the TS ICET qualifying cutoff.

How TG ICET 2024 Scores are Calculated?

Candidates can know how they obtained a certain marks and rank in the scorecard by knowing the scoring pattern. Candidates can use the TS ICET marking scheme and answer key to determine their raw scores. The following are the steps to determine the TS ICET 2024 scores:

• Give one mark for each response that was answered correctly.
• Marks should not be subtracted for wrong responses as there is no negative marking in the exam.
• Don’t take any points away from questions that you didn’t try.
• Add up all of the marks to find the likely score.

TS ICET 2024 Result: Tie Breaking Criteria

When two or more applicants have the same total marks, Kakatiya University uses a chronology-based tie-breaking method to assign ranks to all eligible candidates. The specifics of the TS ICET tie-breaking standards are listed below:

• During the rank allocation phase of the TS ICET exam, candidates who have a higher normalized score in Section-A will be given precedence.
• In the event of a tie, ranking preference will go to the candidates who received a higher normalized score in Section-B.
• In the event of a tie, the older candidate will receive a superior rank from the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) on the basis of the date of birth listed on the SSC certificate.

TS ICET Counselling 2024

Following the announcement of the results, there are four steps to the TS ICET 2024 counselling procedure, when seats are assigned on the basis of merit. Using their TS ICET admit card and registration number, candidates must first register and pay the counselling fee (Rs. 1200 for General Category and Rs. 600 for Reserved Category).

The TS ICET Admit Card, Aadhaar Card, and other papers are then verified. Following the candidates’ selection of their preferred college, seats are ultimately assigned based on availability, preference, and TS ICET rank. Candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are guaranteed 85% of the seats, with the remaining 15% being open to other candidates.
