Sometimes two or more candidates receive the same rank in the TS LAWCET & PGLCET Exam. After the results are announced, TSCHE creates a category-wise LAWCET and PGLCET merit list based on the marks obtained in the exam. In such cases, the following approaches will be used to break a tie in rankings –

Step 1: The candidate who got higher marks in Part A, i.e. Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law, would be given preference first.
Step 2: If there is still a tie after this, the elder candidate will be prefered.
