Universities Offering Admissions without CUET Scores
Apart from the Central universities, several State, Public, and Private universities decided to consider the CUET Scores while admitting students into their UG and PG programmes. Although the University Grants Commission (UGC) has made CUET mandatory, the Union Ministry of Education has enabled select universities to grant admission without CUET results since the institutions have indicated that they lack the resources to admit students with CUET scores. Non CUET Admission Procedure of Universities
The Admission Process of the Non CUET Universities varies depending upon the university as mentioned earlier. Universities that do not require CUET scores use state-level entrance tests for UG and PG admissions. However, some states offer merit-based admission based on performance in previous qualifying exams. To proceed with their admission, candidates can review the eligibility requirements and the admissions process if they wish to be admitted to a university without taking the CUET.

CUET allows individuals to apply to several Central Universities with a single exam and cover a wide range of disciplines. However, some colleges have been granted permission to admit students without CUET scores due to a lack of resources to execute CUET-based admissions policies.

State Universities Offering Admissions without CUET Scores
States like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Odisha used to conduct their own state-level Exam for admission into their state universities. Students who are not keen to appear for the CUET Exam, have the option of securing admission for higher studies into these state universities. Top 10 Government Colleges without CUET in Delhi
The Administrative capital of India, Delhi is the home of the most prestigious colleges throughout the country. In Delhi-NCR, there are two Institutes of Eminence, seven central universities, ten state universities, and eleven deemed institutions. Each year Lakhs of Students from all over India come to the capital to pursue their higher studies.
Most top institutions, such as JNU and Delhi University, currently accept CUET scores for UG and PG courses. However, there are a number of colleges in Delhi that do not accept CUET, such as Ambedkar University Delhi, Indraprastha College for Women, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Jamia Millia Islamia, St. Stephen’s College, and others. Central universities without CUET
The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to applicants for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs each year. There are 46 Central Universities in India. The Common University Entrance Test is required for admission to central universities in India. As a results, there is no central university that offers admission without CUET Scores.
However, some universities admit students without scores. These colleges include Nagaland University, Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU), Sikkim University, North Eastern Hill University, and many others.
Universities Offering Admissions without CUET Scores in West Bengal
Students who have just passed out from Class 12 and want to be admitted to the West Bengal State-run or aided universities are informed that none of West Bengal’s state universities have accepted the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG approach for undergraduate admissions.
