The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), the premier medical university of Uttar Pradesh, conducts the UP CNET counselling 2024 process after the declaration of the result. As the preliminary preparations for the UP CNET counselling 2024 Dates/Schedule have been released by the board. Through the UP CNET 2024 counselling process, candidates will be allotted seats in Nursing program at different medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

UP CNET Counselling 2024

Students who qualified the exam receive notification to attend the UP CNET counseling 2024 round following the announcement of the merit list. They have to show up in person for the counseling round. The authorities will post the counseling round’s specifics on the official website. Based on how well they did on the entrance exam, students can choose the courses and colleges that best suit them. To ensure authenticity, they need to bring the original documents for the counselling.

UP CNET 2024 Counselling

Online counseling will be held by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee University of Medical Sciences (ABVMU), Uttar Pradesh, for the state-level CNET 2024 test. Candidates will have to fill up the online application form to take part in the counselling process. However, students who receive a seat through the CNET counseling in 2024 must report to the designated college by the deadline given by ABVMU, accompanied with all required documentation in physical mode.

ABVMU Counselling Date 2024

The CNET counselling 2024 dates and admission schedule for admissions to the 11610 B.Sc. nursing seats in the various government and private nursing colleges in Uttar Pradesh has been made public by the conducting body. Applicants can view the CNET 2024 counseling schedule in the table below.

UP CNET Counselling 2024 Rounds

Three rounds will comprise the ABVMU B.Sc. nursing counseling 2024: a first round, a second round, and a mop up round. A stray round will be held if there are still unfilled seats following the mop up round. Those who pass the CNET exam in 2024 will be qualified to participate in the counseling rounds.

Based on the merit list, the colleges will be assigned to the students in accordance with their preferences. In addition to meeting the minimal requirements provided by the Indian Nursing Council, candidates must also satisfy the eligibility requirements established by the conducting body.

UP BSc Nursing Admission Counselling 2024

Seats at all government and private nursing institutes associated with ABVMU Lucknow, SGPGIMS Lucknow, KGMU Lucknow, RMLIMS Lucknow, UPUMS Saifai, and LLRM, Meerut, will be made available through the ABVMU BSc nursing entrance exam, CNET 2024. For a predetermined number of seats determined by the Indian Nursing Council, reservations will be granted in accordance with state government reservation policies. Candidates with Parkinson’s disease will receive a 5% horizontal reservation.

CNET Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria laid out by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University to appear for the CNET counselling 2024 process. Candidates must have scored the minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for counselling and admission into the nursing program. Check the detailed eligibility criteria below.

• The CNET 2024 exam minimum qualifying marks are as follows: 50% for the unreserved (UR)/EWS category, 45% for PwD (General and EWS), and 40% for the SC/ST and OBC categories.
• As of December 31, 2024, the applicant’s minimum and maximum ages should be 17 and 35, respectively. That is, candidates should be more than 17 years of age and should be less than 35 years in age. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories will get age relaxation as per the Government of India norms.
• The student must have earned at least 45% of the possible marks in the basic disciplines of biology, chemistry, and physics in their 10 + 2 or equivalent exam. (Students in the reserved category will receive a 5% relaxation)
• The candidate should have studied English language as a subject at 10 + 2 or equivalent level in order to be admitted to the B.Sc. nursing program.
• Candidates will be chosen based on their medical suitability. If the University-appointed Medical Board does not deem a selected candidate medically fit, they will not be allowed to enroll in the course.

ABVMU BSc Nursing Counselling 2024 Registration Process

The ABVMU CNET 2024 counselling registration process is done completely in online mode. The counselling registration involves the following steps:

Step 1 : Register for the CNET 2024 counseling by visiting the official website, abvmuup.edu.in, and inputting your DOB and registration ID (same as the application form).

Step 2 : All of the candidate’s personal information, including name, DOB, mother’s and father’s names, category, and address, will be immediately pre-filled after logging in and submitted during the CNET 2024 registration.

Step 3 : Upload the tenth and twelfth grade marksheets, update the Uttar Pradesh state domicile status, the minority status, and any relevant certificates for the domicile status, the minority status, and the category certificate.

Step 4 : Pay the online counseling registration charge of INR 500 and the counseling security fee of INR 5000. Online deposits for both fees will be made in the amount of Rs.5,500.

Documents Required for UP CNET Counselling 2024

The following is a list of one-set, self-attested photocopies of documents that must be deposited during CNET Exam 2024 counseling process. Students must also possess the following documents in the original form.

• Provisional seat allotment letter

• 5 passport-size colour photographs of the candidate with white backgrounds.

• Fee deposit receipt of Rs.40,000/-

• Passing certificate/Mark sheet/Statement of marks of 12th class or its equivalent examination from a recognized board.

• Certificate from the board showing the date of birth. (class 10th passing certificate)

• 12th class (10+2) migration/transfer certificate.

• Verification form uploaded at the time of filling the application.

• Photo ID proof (Aadhar card/Voter ID card/Driving licence etc.)

• Medical fitness certificate

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Domicile certificate (if applying for the government colleges)
