The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has announced the West bengal Class 12 results Today, May 08, 2024, at 01: P.M. As per the stats, this year the pass percentage for the class 12 exam stands at 90%. This year a total of 755324 students appeared, of 6,79,784 students qualified. Abhik Das secured first place in the merit list with 496 marks. Dr. Chiranjib Bhattacharjee, President of WBCHSE has announced the HS Result 2024 West Bengal via a press conference at Vidyasagar Bhavan Kolkata, The WB HS Uchcha Madhyamik result was declared on the 69th day of the exam completion, according to the WBCHSE president. Along with the announcement of the HS Result 2024 the board has announced the results pass percentage and toppers list.

This year, a total of 755324 students appeared in the Class 12 final exam. Out of the total students, 6,79,784 students successfully passed resulting pass percentage of 90%. The pass percentage among minority students in WB HS results 2024 is 86.97%.

Abhik Das of Alipurduar topped the West Bengal Class 12 final exam with a score of 496 (99.2%). According to the West Bengal Council’s stats, 58 students from 15 districts are among the top ten in the WB 12th results.

The Hooghly district has the most number of Class 12 exam toppers. Hooghly district comes in first place, with 13 toppers. At second place Bakura with 9 Toppers, followed by South Dakhin Parganas at third with 7 students.

West Bengal Uchcha Madhyamik Result 2024

The West Bengal Uchcha Madhyamik result 2024 has been declared for all three streams science, commerce, and arts combined. Of the 5,95,292 students who took the WB HS examinations in humanities, 88.2% passed. A total of 38,439 students took the West Bengal High School Commerce examinations. Higher Secondary Result 2024 Via SMS

The West Bengal Council of Upper Secondary Education offers SMS services to students who are unable to view their WB Higher Secondary Result 2024 online due to poor internet access.

Step 1: Open the SMS app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Enter your roll number using this format: WB 12space>roll number.
Step 3: Send it to 58888 or 5676750.
Step 4: You will receive your WB HS result 2024 to the same mobile number.

How to Obtain Original copy of HS Mark sheet

The board releases the provisional copy of the WB HS Marksheet on its official website. Students can download it using their login details such as Roll Nuber and date of Birth. WB Class 12 Result 2024 original mark sheet will be accessible from 55 distribution centers, including the 04 Regional Offices, on May 10 at 10 a.m. The respective school will distribute the original copy of the mark sheet and certificate to the students.

HS Result 2024 Toppers List

The Council has released the toppers list of the WB Class 12 Exam along with the results, Up to 58 students are ranked in the top ten. These students come from fifteen districts. There are 13 students from Hooghly alone, followed by nine from Bankura, seven from Dakshin 24 Pargana, and five from Kolkata. Seven students came in fifth place, each with 492 marks. While eight students share sixth place, each scoring 491 marks, five students rank seventh with 490 marks (98%).

Six students took eighth place, getting 489 marks (97.8%), and eleven students took ninth place, scoring 488 marks (97.6%). The tenth rank is shared by a group of sixteen students. The tenth-place finishers earned 487 points, or 97.4 percent.

WBCHSE Result 2024 Class 12 Grading System

The WBCHSE adopts a grading system to assess students’ marks for the West Bengal HS Result 2024. Students who score between 80 and 100 obtain a ‘A+’ grade. Students who score between 60 and 79 are given a ‘A’ grade. The table below summarizes the grading method used in the WB HS Results 2024.

What are the pass marks in HS West Bengal in 2024?
