1.Tamil Nadu Shares Expertise with Meghalaya in Medical Training:

29 doctors from Meghalaya get trained in government hospitals in Tamilnadu.
Memorandum of understanding was signed between two government in September 2022.
They all trained for Life saving anesthetic skills, Emergency Maternal obstetric care and ultra sonogram.
Institute of Social Obstetrics and Government Kasturba Gandhi Hospital(KGH) for Women and Children, Triplicane, Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (IOG) and Government Hospital for Women and Children, Egmore.
KGH and IOG are LaQshya (Labour Room Quality Improvement Initiative) Certified.

2.Tamil Nadu Government Funds Higher Education for 247 Govt. school Students:

247 students from the Tamil Nadu government schools are going to study in premier higher education institutions.
Most of them are from an underprivileged background and First graduate from the family.
The Government of Tamilnadu is funding for their college education.
Last year it was only 75 students and the improved number shows the quality of education.

3.Eminent Archaeologist Pulavar S. Rasu Passes Away

Eminent archaeologist, epigraphist and Tamil scholar, Pulavar S. Rasu passed away.
He was the person who identified the Kodumanal as a treasure trove of antiquities.
He identified the village as the one mentioned as kodumanam as inscribed in padhitrupathu of Sangam literature.
Following this excavations began for the first time in 1985.
They brought to light cultural periods megalithic and early Historic.
