The state is divided into two regions—the Coastal Andhra region in the east and Rayalaseema in the west. A small coastal region is on the Bay of Bengal in its southeast. - కొత్త జిల్లాల ఏర్పాటుపై 2020 ఆగస్టు 7న రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి ఆధ్వర్యంలో కమిటీ ఏర్పాటైంది ఆ తర్వాత జిల్లాల సరిహద్దులు, సిబ్బంది పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణ, ఆస్తులు, మౌలిక వసతులు, ఇన్ఫర్మేషన్‌ టెక్నాలజీ వంటి అంశాలపై మొత్తం నాలుగు సబ్‌ కమిటీలు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.
