Assam SLET Syllabus 2024

The Assam State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) is a state-level examination conducted by the Assam State Level Eligibility Test Commission (ASLETC) for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in the colleges and universities of Assam. The exam is conducted in two papers: Paper I and Paper II.

• Assam SLET Syllabus 2024 Paper I is a general paper that assesses the candidates’ research aptitude, teaching aptitude, communication skills, reading comprehension, logical reasoning, and data interpretation skills. The paper consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark.
• Assam SLET Syllabus 2024  Paper II is a subject-specific paper that tests the candidates’ knowledge and understanding of the subject they have chosen to specialize in. The paper consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying two marks.

Assam SLET Exam Pattern 2024 Paper -I and Paper-II

Assam SLET exam pattern 2024 consists of two papers- Paper-I and Paper-II. The exams for these papers are scheduled in two shifts. Shift 1 is scheduled for Paper-I and Shift 2 is scheduled for Paper II. Both papers consist of Objective type MCQs. The Assam SLET 2024 is conducted in offline mode i.e. pen-paper-based exam.

• Paper-I consists of 50 objective type questions covering general subjects. Paper-I is intended to assess and evaluate the research/teaching aptitude of the candidates. The paper is designed to test the comprehension capabilities, reasoning ability, general awareness and divergent thinking of the candidates.
• Paper II consists of 100 objective-type questions based on the subject opted by the candidates. The main objective of this paper is to test the understanding and knowledge of the candidates regarding their specific subject
