Assam TET Exam Cancelled For Two Years: Stated Education Minister Ranoj Pegu

In a recent conference, the Education Minister of Assam, Renoj Pegu stated that the Assam TET Exam has been Cancelled for the Next Two Years. The Education Minister further said that number of Assam TET applicants is insufficient in number compelling the State Government to reach the decision.

Assam TET 2023 Detailed Notification

According to Renoj Pegu, although the Assam TET exam has been cancelled, however, this does not suggest that the Assam Teacher Recruitment has been deterred as well. He reassured Assam Government Teaching Job Aspirants that the Assam Teacher Recruitment 2023 will be conducted timely and the Assam teacher Recruitment Official Notification 2023 will be released accordingly.

Assam TET Syllabus And Exam Pattern

For the upcoming Assam Teacher Recruitment 2023, candidates with CTET Certificate and Assam D.El.Ed qualified candidates will be eligible to apply for the recruitment. Candidates who have already cleared Assam TET Exam will also be eligible to apply for Assam Teacher Recruitment 2023.

Assam TET Exam is usually conducted once a year to offer Assam TET Certificate to eligible candidates who have cleared Assam TET Exam successfully. The news of the Assam TET Exam being cancelled will affect the Assam TET Exam aspirants who have been preparing for the Exam. Therefore, the Assam TET Exam Aspirants have raised their concerns and requested the Education Minister to reconsider their decision to cancel the Assam TET Exam.

The Assam Exam TET is conducted for primary and upper-primary teaching aspirants. Candidates who want to teach from classes 1 to 5 (primary) and classes 6 to 8 (upper primary) need to qualify for the Assam TET Exam to become eligible to apply for the Assam Teacher Recruitment.
