Eligibility Criteria  for General B.Ed. Programme (CET-B.Ed. 2025)

Candidates applying for the General B.Ed. Programme must meet any one of the following educational qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree (in 10+2+3 format) in any stream- Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce with at least 50% marks,OR
• A Master’s degree in any of the above-mentioned streams with at least 50% marks,OR
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science or Mathematics and at least 55% marks.

Note: Candidates with an equivalent qualification from a recognized university are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria Shiksha Shastri Programme (CET for Shiksha Shastri)

For those interested in pursuing B.Ed. in Sanskrit (Shiksha Shastri Programme), the eligibility criteria are as follows:

• A Shastri degree or B.A. with Sanskrit as the main subject from a recognized university with at least 50% marks, AND
• Completion of a 2-year course of Shastri B.A. including Sanskrit, AND
• Must have passed Acharya (First Year) or M.A. (Sanskrit) First Year (Bridge Course).
• These qualifications ensure the candidate has a strong background in Sanskrit necessary for this specialized programme.

Bihar BEd Age Limit 2025

There is no upper age limit prescribed for candidates applying for Bihar BEd CET 2025. However, candidates must ensure they fulfill the minimum age and educational qualification requirements as per the official guidelines.
