CG SET Exam Eligibility 2024

The CG SET Exam 2024 eligibility criteria include having a Master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Transgender) from a recognized university. Final year students or those awaiting results can apply provisionally if they complete their degree within two years of the exam result.

There is no age limit for candidates, who can take the exam multiple times. Applicants should choose the subject of their Master’s degree for the SET exam, and reservation benefits are available to Chhattisgarh domiciled candidates as per state government regulations.

Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Transgender)

  1. Master’s Degree: Candidates must have completed a Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
  2. Minimum Marks: They should have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in the qualifying examination.

Final Year Students

  • Provisional Eligibility: Candidates who are in the final year of their Master’s degree or are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. However, they must complete their degree with the required percentage within two years from the date of the CG SET exam result.

Chhattisgarh State Eligibility Test Age Limit

The Chhattisgarh State Eligibility Test (CG SET) has a straightforward age-related policy:

  • No Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for the CG SET exam. This allows individuals of any age to apply for and take the test, providing opportunities for career advancement without age restrictions

CG SET Age Relaxation
