CTET Exam Postponed: The Central Board of Secondary Exam has announced that the CTET Exam 2021 scheduled for 17th December 2021 has been postponed. Paper-I and Paper-II, both the papers have been postponed. CBSE has released the CTET exam cancellation notification on their official website.

CBSE has also sent emails to the CTET aspirants to correspond the news regarding the postponement of the exam. This comes after the Shift 2 exam of CTET exam scheduled today (16th December 2021) got postponed due to some technical issue. CBSE has confirmed in their notification that the CTET exams scheduled from 20th December 2021 will be conducted as per schedule.
Since, the postponement of today’s exam, students were growing anxious about tomorrow’s exam. Now that CBSE has confirmed that the exam will be postponed, the students are at least sure that they do not have to visit their examination centres tomorrow. The CBSE has not mentioned any date regarding when the exam will be rescheduled.
Earlier, today the CTET candidates were informed about the postponement of the exam after the server went down and the question papers could not be accessed. The candidates waited for more than an hour before the invigilators of exam centres informed them that due to technical issues, the paper will be postponed.
As per reports, all the CTET candidates haven’t received the emails until now. However, it is speculated that they will receive the emails before the day end. The CTET aspirants are advised to check their emails/sms for further information regarding the CTET Exam 2021.
This is the first CTET exam is conducted online. Earlier, the CTET exams were conducted through offline mode i.e. pen and paper mode. Shift 1 of the CTET exam scheduled on 16th December 2021 was concluded successfully by the Board. However, the technical issue occurred at the beginning of Shift 2.
