CTET Exam Pattern 2024
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a nationwide examination administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CTET Paper I is required for those who want to be eligible to teach classes 1 to 5, while CTET Paper II is necessary for those aiming to teach classes 6 to 8. If a candidate wants to teach across classes from 1 to 8, then they must take both CTET Paper I and CTET Paper II.
CTET Exam Pattern Paper I and II
As per the CTET 2024, the candidates will have to solve 150 questions in 150 minutes for CTET Paper I and Paper II respectively. There is no negative marking in the CTET Exam 2024, therefore, the candidates must try to attempt all 150 questions without the fear of losing precious marks.
The CTET exam is divided into two papers:

CTET Paper 2 Exam Pattern
There are 4 sections in CTET Paper II – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, and the subject concerned. The candidates will have to choose between Mathematics & Science and Social Studies as their subjects. The subject-concerned section will carry 60 marks whereas the other three sections will carry 30 marks each.
