The Central Board of Secondary Education is gearing up for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) scheduled for 20 August 2023. This assessment holds the key to eligibility for teaching roles in prestigious institutions such as Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Army Public Schools and so on. As the upcoming examination date draws near, statistics unveil a remarkable trend in CTET results. CTET results have witnessed an astonishing upswing of 28.79% over a span of five years.
A retrospective analysis of CTET results from preceding years paints a vivid picture of this upward trajectory. In 2017, the pass rates for the first and second papers stood at a modest 11.95% and 9.16%, respectively. Fast-forward to 2022, and these figures have risen to an impressive 40.74% and 29.46%. This data hints at the possibility of a continuing surge, predicting good news for the aspirants of CTET 2023.
The CTET examination will be conducted in two paper-based sessions- Paper I and Paper II. While the CBSE is yet to release the exact count of candidates registered for the upcoming test, early estimates suggest participation exceeding 30 lakh candidates. This year’s CTET marks a return to the traditional paper and pen mode, reinstating a sense of familiarity among the candidates appearing for the exam.
The CTET Admit Card 2023 has been released on 18 August 2023 at 12 am. Candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the CTET Admit Card 2023 to be able to carry it to the Exam Centre on the CTET Exam date 2023 on 20 August 2023.
The upward trajectory of CTET results is multifaceted in its origins. A significant contributing factor is the proactive approach of previously successful candidates who reappear in the examination to enhance their scores. Moreover, a provision is in place that validates the results of the examination in which a candidate attains higher marks, adding further incentive to achieve excellence.
As the countdown to CTET 2023 continues, all eyes are on the unfolding events related to the CTET Result 2023 and so on. With the precedent of a 28.79% surge in CTET results over the past five years, the stage is set for the CTET aspirants to shine.
