BET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the DBT BET 2025, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Academic Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech./M.B.B.S. or equivalent degree.
• Master’s Degree: Candidates must have an M.Sc./M.Tech./M.VSc./M.Pharm/Integrated M.Sc./M.Tech. degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or any other allied areas of Biology.
• Final Year Candidates: Students appearing for their final semester examination or awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

Marks Requirement

• General/EWS/OBC Candidates: Minimum 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade).
• SC/ST/Differently Abled Candidates: Minimum 55% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade).

Age Limit

• General/EWS Candidates: Up to 28 years as on the last date of application.
• SC/ST/Differently Abled/Women Candidates: Up to 33 years (5 years relaxation).
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: Up to 31 years (3 years relaxation).

DBT BET 2025 Exam Date

The DBT BET 2025 exam will be conducted on 13th May 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Candidates must ensure they are well-prepared and adhere to the exam schedule. The exam will be held in offline mode (pen-and-paper based) at various centers across India.

DBT BET 2025 Syllabus and Exam Pattern

BET 2025 Exam Centre

BET 2025 Exam Centre will be filled by candidates on application for. Candidates can select up to four different cities for their exam center while filling out the DBT BET Application Form 2025. While efforts will be made to allot one of the preferred cities, candidates may be allotted a different city due to administrative reasons. No travel allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for appearing in the DBT BET Exam.
