In a significant development for the DSSSB Teaching Aspirants, the Delhi High Court has recently passed an order directing the Directorate of Education and Municipal Corporation of Delhi to expeditiously fill up 26,000 vacant teaching positions and report compliance by 31st July 2023. The court’s decision aims to address the long-standing issue of teacher shortage in the capital city’s schools, providing a much-needed boost to the education system.

Earlier DSSSB had released the list of other vacancies for teaching aspirants. According to that notification, DSSSB has 16000+ teaching vacancies for the post of TGT, PGT, Computer Teacher, Physical Education Teacher, Music Teacher, Drawing Teacher and other teaching positions.

However, after the recent revision of Teaching Vacancies within the DSSSB, the Delhi High Court has recently passed an order directing the Directorate of Education and Municipal Corporation of Delhi, it comes to notice that more than 26000 teaching vacancies are available under DSSSB.

Recognizing the urgency of the matter, the Delhi High Court has emphasized the need for prompt action and has asked for a report on the compliance of the order by 31st July 2023. This judicial intervention highlights the court’s commitment to ensuring the right to quality education for all children in Delhi.

To qualify for the DSSSB Vacancy 2023, candidates must meet certain educational qualifications and teaching experience requirements. They are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and possess CTET Certificate. While prior teaching experience is not mandatory, candidates with relevant experience will have an advantage over others.
