DHC Order for DSSSB Teacher Recruitment

The Delhi High Court issued an order to the Directorate of Education (DoE) and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to send a requisition to the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) within the next three weeks. The requisition is regarding the filling of all 5750 vacant teaching positions across various schools in the capital. By ordering the DoE and MCD to send a requisition to DSSSB within the next three weeks, the court aims to facilitate a prompt and efficient recruitment process for the vacant teaching posts.

The recent order comes as part of the court’s ongoing efforts to improve the educational landscape in Delhi. On 27 May 2023, the Delhi High Court had previously directed the DoE and MCD to expedite the filling of a staggering 26,000 vacant teaching posts. As the deadline for compliance was set for 31 July 2023, the court has been closely monitoring the progress to ensure timely action.

DSSSB 2023 Exam Pattern

The DSSSB exam pattern 2023  is divided into three levels i.e One Tier exam, the Two-Tier exam (comprising Tier-I and Tier-II) and the Skill Test. In the DSSSB exam, one mark is allotted for every correct answer and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
