The Gujarat TET Certificate was initially valid for a period of 7 years from the date of issuance for general category candidates and 5 years for reserved category candidates. However, the Gujarat State Examination Board (GSEB) has announced that the Gujarat TET Certificate validity is now lifetime.

Benefits of Gujarat TET Certificate Validity 2023 Extension

Earlier, the Gujarat TET Certificate was valid for a period of 7 years for general category candidates and 5 years for reserved category candidates. This meant that candidates had to clear the TET exam again after the validity period expired in order to continue their careers as teachers in government schools.
