UGC NET Certificate 2025
The UGC-NET December 2025 exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from 3 January 2025 to 27 January 2025 in CBT mode, was aimed at awarding Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointing Assistant Professors, and facilitating admission to Ph.D. programs across 85 subjects.
Candidates who successfully cleared the UGC NET exam will soon be able to access their e-certificate and JRF Award Letter on the official NTA website by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth. The National Testing Agency (NTA) officially releases the UGC NET Scorecard 2025, which shows a candidate’s performance on the UGC NET exam. Along with exam-specific facts like the exam day and session, it also contains basic information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, application number, date of birth, and category. Additionally, the scoreboard shows the percentage scored, the total scores, and the grades earned in Paper I and Paper II. By providing their application number and birthdate, candidates will be able to view their results and get the UGC NET Scorecard 2025.
How to Download the UGC NET Certificate?
The candidates need to go through the following instructions to know how to access and download the UGC NET Certification. The instructions are easy to follow. Hence, the candidates will be able to download the e-copy of the UGC NET Certification easily. Candidates can easily access and download their UGC NET Certificate by following these simple steps:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) for UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the “UGC NET E-Certificate” Link On the homepage, find and click on the “UGC NET E-Certificate” link located at the bottom of the page.
- Enter Your Details: Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the Security Pin shown on the screen.
- Click “Submit”: After filling in the details, click the “Submit” button.
- View Your UGC NET Scorecard 2025: Your UGC NET Scorecard 2025 will appear on the screen. Click on the “Download Certificate” button.
- Enter Additional Information: Enter your Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Exam Centre Code.
- Click “Submit” Again: After entering the necessary details, click the “Submit” button once more.
- Download Your Certificate: Your UGC NET certificate will be displayed on the screen. Check it thoroughly.
- Save and Print: Download the certificate and take a printout for future reference.
Non-Receipt of UGC NET Certificate
Candidates who do not receive the e-copy of the UGC NET Certificate should reach out to NTA via email at ugcnet@nta.ac.in or ecertificate@nta.ac.in. In the email, candidates must mention the non-receipt of the certificate and provide the following details:
- Roll Number
- Date of the UGC NET exam
- UGC Reference Number
Additionally, if candidates have not submitted the attested copies of the required documents, they can attach these documents to the email. The documents should be attested by a gazetted officer and include the following:
- High School/Higher Secondary/Matriculation Certificate (indicating the date of birth)
- Master’s Degree/Provisional Certificate
- Consolidated Mark Sheet of the Master’s degree course. If grades were used, provide a conversion table to a consolidated percentage from the issuing authority.
- Caste Certificate (only for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
- Certificate of Physical Disability (only for Physically Handicapped and Visually Handicapped candidates)
UGC NET Certificate Validity
Candidates who meet the minimum UGC NET cut-off marks for their respective years will be eligible to receive the UGC NET E-Certificate. The UGC NET Validity of the UGC NET E-Certificate for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is 3 years from the date of issuance. However, no specific validity period has been mentioned by UGC for the Assistant Professor post, making it valid for a lifetime.
