Eligibility Criteria For TGT, PGT, PRT & Nursery Teacher

Post Wise Qualification
PGT
- A Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University in the concerned subject.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university
TGT
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognized University in the concerned subject.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university
- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
PRT
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in elementary education
- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
Nursery
- Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognized Board/university
- Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education program for the duration of not less than two years or B.Ed. (Nursery) from a recognized institute
- Must have passed Hindi at Secondary Level
CTET 2022 Exam Details
As of now, the CTET exam has been conducted offline or in pen and paper mode. However, as per the notice, the examination could be shifted to the Computer-based format. The reason mentioned for this shift is making the new teacher’s computer literate. Another major reason for this step is saving paper wastage that happens when an offline exam was conducted. CTET 2022: Selection Procedure
