What is KVS

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860). The primary aim of the Sangathan is to provide, establish, endow, maintain control and manage the Central Schools (Kendriya Vidyalayas) located all over India and abroad. The Sangathan has three tier management structure as mentioned below.

1. Headquarters
2. Regional Offices managing a cluster of about 45-50 schools and
3. Kendriya Vidyalayas spread all over the country and abroad each having their Vidyalaya Management Committees.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has been working under The ministry of human resources and has 1235 schools in India and even three of them are abroad. KVS has now started Balvatika which includes children from 3 to 6 years of age. Here we are going to learn about the facilities provided for KVS as a central government school.
