CTET Overview
CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in All over India. The purpose of the CTET is to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in primary and upper primary schools.

CTET Marking System
CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) is an entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in primary and upper primary schools.
The marking system for CTET is as follows:
- The test consists of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for candidates who want to teach classes I to V, and Paper II is for candidates who want to teach classes VI to VIII.
- Each paper consists of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each.
- There is no negative marking in CTET, which means candidates are not penalized for wrong answers.
- The total marks for each paper are 150, and candidates need to score a minimum of 60% (90 marks) to qualify.
- Candidates who score more than 60% are awarded a CTET certificate, which is valid for lifetime.
