For JMI Professor Recruitment 2023, the eligibility criteria for the positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor have been released. 1. Possess a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.
2. Have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar accredited tests like SLET/SET by the UGC.
3. There is a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement at the graduate and master’s level for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) categories. This relaxation is applicable for both eligibility purposes and assessing a good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions.

For Associate Professor

For the position of Associate Professor through direct recruitment in JMI Professor Recruitment 2023, the following qualifications are required:

1. A Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines is mandatory.

4. Attain a minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).
