KARTET Eligibility Criteria
The Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (KARTET) is conducted by the Education Department of Karnataka. The state-level exam is conducted once a year in offline mode. For further clarity, the candidates must go through the following table.

Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria 2024
The candidates interested to apply for the KARTET Exam 2024 must go through the Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria properly. This way they can ensure they are eligible for the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test Exam 2024 before submitting their KARTET Application Form 2024. The candidates who will fail to comply with the Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria 2024 will face rejection or disqualification and their TET Application Fees will not be returned.
(Paper-I) : Required minimum qualification (for teaching class 1 to 5)
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
(Paper-II) : Required minimum qualification (for teaching class 6 to 8)
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in Final-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Note: Relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification meant for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC / ST / C-I / Differently abled.
Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
The candidates applying for the Karnataka TET Exam 2024 must be above the age of 18 years. There is no upper age limit for KARTET Exam 2024.
