The National Institute of Technology Warangal Faculty 2024 Eligibility Criteria to ensure they are eligible for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Eligibility Criteria for Professor

• PhD qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications in Refereed Journals.
• A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/College, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, including experience guiding candidates for research at the doctoral level.

Eligibility Criteria for Associate Professor

• Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks
• Minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution / Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research papers in refereed journals only / policy papers

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor

• Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with at least 55% marks from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Qualified UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
• A relaxation of 5% at the graduate and master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) categories.
