The Selection Process for Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Recruitment 2023 includes the following Stages for all the posts in the notification:

Computer Based Test (CBT)

The candidates have to appear for a written test designed specifically for the various posts. The syllabus and exam pattern of the written tests has been published on their website. They should go through it and comprehend how to go about it. The candidates will have to attempt objective-type multiple-choice questions. The total number of questions and the time duration of each written test depends on the post itself. The candidates will have to obtain the cut-off marks to qualify for the next step of the selection process.

Interview

The interview/personal Interaction will be conducted for the teaching post. For Librarian post, The CBT test will be held only. The candidates will be tested on the basis of their basic knowledge of their subject expertise and overall understanding of the subject. The final selection list will be reapared on the marks of CBT and Interview.

Document Verification

The candidates will be called for document verification once they have successfully cleared all the prior steps of the selection process like CBT written test, and Interview. They will have to bring their original documents for verification relevant for their respective posts like educational qualifications, professional qualifications, caste certificate (if applicable), ID proofs and so on.
