NVS Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2024

NVS Principal Exam Pattern 2024
The test for NVS Principal includes five sections: Part-I on Reasoning & Numeric Ability (10 questions, 10 marks), Part-II General Awareness (20 questions, 20 marks), Part-III Language Competency Test (General English -10, General Hindi -10, 20 marks), Part-IV Academic and residential aspects (50 questions, 50 marks), and Part-V Administration and Finance (50 questions, 50 marks). NVS PGT Exam Pattern 2024
The test for NVS PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) comprises six sections. Part I, General Awareness, consists of 10 questions worth 10 marks, with a total duration of 3 hours. Part II, Reasoning Ability, includes 20 questions totaling 20 marks. Part III, Knowledge of ICT, and Part IV Teaching Aptitude, each has 10 questions carrying 10 marks.
Part V focuses on the Subject Concerned and its Pedagogy, featuring 80 questions worth 80 marks. Finally, Part VI combines the Language Competency Test (General English – 10, General Hindi – 10) with 20 questions totalling 20 marks. Overall, the examination consists of 150 questions with a total mark of 150.

NVS Exam Pattern For TGTs & TGT Misc.
The test for NVS TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) and TGT Misc. consists of six sections. Part-I evaluates General Awareness with 10 questions, each worth 10 marks, within a 3-hour duration without individual time limits. Part-II covers Reasoning Ability with 10 questions for 10 marks. Parts III and IV, Knowledge of ICT and Teaching Aptitude, respectively, also contain 10 questions each, valued at 10 marks each. Part-V focuses on Subject Concerned and its Pedagogy, presenting 80 questions for 80 marks. Finally, Part-VI combines a Language Competency Test with 30 questions (General English – 10, General Hindi – 10, and a Regional Language – 10), totaling 30 marks. In total, the test comprises 150 questions with a total mark of 150.
