- Passed Odia as MIL up to HSC level or equivalent. Alternatively, must provide a certificate if passed HSC in Odia medium without Odia as MIL.

- Urdu: Passed Urdu as MIL up to HSC standard for D.El.Ed. (Urdu) at Government ETEI, Urdu, Cuttack, and ETEI, Pahimahura, Bhadrak.
- Telugu: Passed Telugu as MIL up to HSC standard for D.El.Ed. (Telugu) at Government ETEI, Telugu, Cuttack.
