OSSTET Syllabus 2024 & Exam Pattern

OSSTET Syllabus & Exam Pattern has been released by BSE. Odisha on their official website. Candidates who are applying for the OSSTET 2024 exam must check all the details related to the OSSTET Exam Pattern and syllabus. The exam pattern for the OSSTET 2024 exam has been given for various papers i.e. TGT CBZ/PCM, and TGT Science. TGT Arts, Hindi/ Telegu/ Urdu/ Sanskrit Teacher, Physical Education Teacher.

The OSSTET Paper 1 syllabus and exam pattern for various teaching categories, including TGT CBZ/PCM, TGT Science, TGT Arts, and Hindi/ Telugu/ Urdu/ Sanskrit Teacher, consist of four sections. Section I covers Language I (Odia) with 20 questions worth 20 marks, and Section II includes Language II (English) with 20 questions, also valued at 20 marks. Section III comprises subject-specific content: TGT CBZ/PCM (Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Physics), TGT Science (Chemistry), and TGT Arts (Geography, Economics, History, Political Science) with 60 questions carrying 60 marks. Section IV includes Child Development, Pedagogy, School Management, and Evaluation, with 50 questions worth 50 marks. The total exam consists of 150 questions, totaling 150 marks.

OSSTET Syllabus 2024 & Exam Pattern For Paper 2

The OSSTET Paper 2 for aspiring Physical Education Teachers in Odisha covers key concepts from C.P.Ed. and B.P.Ed. programs, like principles and history of physical education, teaching methods, officiating and coaching, along with general knowledge on child development, pedagogy, school management, and evaluation.

The OSSTET Paper 2 syllabus for Physical Education Teacher includes four sections. Section I focuses on Language – I (MIL – Odia) with 20 questions worth 20 marks, while Section II covers Language – II (English) with 20 questions also worth 20 marks. Section III consists of 60 questions from the contents of the C.P.Ed. and B.P.Ed. course, carrying 60 marks. Section IV covers Child Development, Pedagogy, School Management, and Evaluation with 50 questions worth 50 marks. The total exam consists of 150 questions, totaling 150 marks.

This section shall comprise of the different subjects taught under the B.Ed. program. The total marks for this section shall be 50 and the questions shall cover all the components with proportional weightage to each section. Section IV is compulsory for all candidates appearing in the Paper – I examination.
