OTET Exam Pattern 2024
OTET exam is conducted in written mode for Paper-I and Paper-II only. Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha conducts the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) to select candidates for the appointment of teacher for Classes I to VIII in government, private aided, and private unaided schools in Odisha. The details of the OTET 2024 exam pattern are given below.
- OTET 2024 exam was conducted in two shifts for – Paper I and Paper-II
- Exam Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes
- Total Questions: 150 multiple-choice questions
- Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer.
- No marks will be deducted for any wrong response
- In both papers, the Language-II subject will be English for all candidates.
- For each subject area, 20 questions will be from contents and 10 questions from Pedagogy.

OTET Previous Year Question Papers Qualifying Marks
- A candidate who scores 60% or more in the TET Examination will be considered a TET pass.
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC/ OBC, and Physically Handicapped securing scores of 50 % may be considered as TET pass.
- The TET score will be given weightage in the recruitment process.
