The PSTET Exam 2023 conducted on 12th March 2023 has been cancelled by the Government of Punjab. In an official tweet by the Education Minister of Punjab, Harjot Singh Bains stated that the PSTET Exam 2023 will be re-conducted by the third-party PSTET Examination Conducting Body- GNDU.
Allegations have been made by the candidates that the correct answers were printed on the question papers of the PSTET Exam 2023. In response to the grave irregularities in the examination process of PSTET Exam 2023, the Education Minister of Punjab has ordered a PS Level Probe.
As per the Tweet by Harjot Singh Bains, the people involved in the misappropriation of the examination will be booked for criminal negligence and brought to justice. The Minister has also the department of Education to have a suitable clause for compensation Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with the third party to compensate the candidates in similar scenarios in future.
In this case, the third part is Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) which is an A++ NAAC grade accreditation has expressed its regretted the misprinting of the PSTET Examination paper.
PSTET Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2023
The candidates who have appeared for the PSTET Exam 2023 on 12th March 2023 will not have to pay fees to re-appear PSTET Exam 2023. The Government of Punjab and Guru Nanak Dev University are yet to confirm the PSTET Re-Exam Date 2023. The candidates will have to keep an outlook for further updates on the PSTET Exam Date 2023 on the official website for PSTET 2023.
The PSTET Exam 2023 is conducted annually through offline mode. The PSTET Qualified candidates become eligible to apply in PSEB affiliated schools in Punjab. The candidates need to appear for two papers- Paper 1 for classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8.
