Punjab Lecturer Salary

The main objective of the Punjab Lecturer Recruitment exam 2022  is to test the eligibility of aspiring candidates who wish to become government teachers in the schools of Punjab. The candidates who will successfully complete the recruitment process will be appointed as teachers in government schools in Punjab. The candidates need to go through a written exam followed by an interview and document verification to complete the recruitment process successfully. The teachers appointed in the government schools of Punjab will have to serve a probation period of 2 years. During their probation period, they will not receive any allowances or added perks. At the end of their probation, their performance will the reviewed and after satisfactory results, they will be appointed as permanent teaching staff.

A 2-year probation is mandatory for all the appointed teachers under the Punjab Lecturer Recruitment exam 2022 process. After the 2 years probation period, their performance will go through an assessment. The candidates will be appointed as a permanent teacher once they successfully clear the assessment. Punjab Lecturer Salary Structure

The Punjab Lecturer salary has been revised and now the teacher will receive a salary based on the 7th Central Pay Commission. The teaching candidates under the Punjab Lecturer Recruitment exam 2022 will receive Rs. 35400 as salary in hand. This revised salary structure is applicable to the newly appointed teacher only. The teachers appointed in earlier recruitment processes will not be eligible to receive this revised salary. They will still be receiving the salary based on the 5th Pay Commission.
