Rajasthan PTET Seat Allotment Date Changed, Check Revised Schedule for Counseling 2023

In a recent development, the Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) counselling authorities have announced a change in the seat allotment dates for the 2023 session. The college allotment for the Rajasthan PTET 4-year Pre BA/BSc B.Ed course, which was originally scheduled for 27  July 2023, has been rescheduled and will now take place on 28 July 2023. Similarly, the college allotment for the PTET 2-year Pre B.Ed course has also been rescheduled and will now be conducted on 30 July 2023.

The delay in the first-round seat allotment result of Rajasthan PTET counselling for both the 2-year and 4-year B.Ed courses has been attributed to administrative reasons. However, the authorities have taken prompt action to ensure that the process continues smoothly.

Eligible candidates who will be allotted seats in various BEd Colleges during this counselling round will be required to enrol in the four-year BA BEd and BSc BEd courses. In order to secure their admission, they must deposit a fee of Rs. 22,000 by 2 August 2023. Additionally, they are required to personally report to their respective colleges between 29 July and 3 August 2023.

The seat allotment is carried out based on the priority of options selected by the candidates during the admission process. The allocation of BEd colleges for the candidates is done on the basis of merit, taking into consideration various factors such as the candidate’s faculty, subject, category, sub-category, and exam score, among others.

For those candidates who are not allotted a college or choose not to take admission, the deposited amount of Rs. 5,000 will be directly transferred back to their bank accounts.
