The DSSSB has stated the list of PGT Subjects/Posts on which these revised recruitment rules will be implemented. The PGT Subjects on which these revised recruitment rules will be implemented are Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Horticulture, Maths, Physics, Political Science, Punjabi, Bengali, Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture, Commerce, Economics, English, Geography, Urdu, Sociology and Psychology. Recruitment Rule For PGT Revised by DSSSB Notification
DSSSB PGT Expected Vacancies
According to the notification, 13967 vacancies are available for DSSSB PGT Post. This number is likely to increase as this data is from 2020. Therefore, the candidates can expect more than 14000 vacancies for the DSSSB PGT Post. Candidates must keep this in mind that the number of DSSSB PGT Post vacancies is Subject to variation dependent on workload as per the notification.
DSSSB PGT Recruitment Rule for Age Limit
The major change introduced in the recruitment rule is the maximum age limit for the PGT Post. The Age limit has been decreased from 35 years to 30 years of age. Therefore, the candidates must have to be below the age of 30 years to become eligible to apply for the DSSSB PGT Post. There is a 5-year of age relaxation for the Government Servant. DSSSB PGT Recruitment Rule for Education Qualification
The candidates applying for the DSSSB PGT Recruitment must have a Masters’s degree in the concerned subjects from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate along with a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from a recognized University/Institute or B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed.; Or three year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution. DSSSB PGT Recruitment Rule for Promotees
According to the new Recruitment Rules, the age limit criteria will not be applicable to the promotee candidates. However, the promotees must comply with the eligibility criteria regarding education qualifications to become eligible for the promotions to the PGT post.
DSSSB PGT Recruitment Rule for Method of Recruitment
50% of the candidates will be recruited under the upcoming DSSSB PGT recruitment 2022. The candidates will have to appear for the written test followed by an interview and document verification.
