What is REET Exam?

Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) has been entrusted with the sole duty of organizing the REET/RTET in the state of Rajasthan.

  • Candidates seeking a career in the education department can grab this opportunity as 62,000 vacancies are expected to be filled this year. Candidates need to clear the REET Exam. BSER conducts two Papers for REET Recruitment i.e. Level I (Primary – For Class I to V) and Level II (Secondary – For Class VI to VIII).
  • After qualifying for this REET Exam candidate will become eligible for the post of teacher at Primary and Upper Primary levels in the state of Rajasthan.
  • Candidates must score 60% or above in the REET exam to qualify for the REET Exam.
  • In accordance with NCTE Guidelines, REET Certificate shall be valid for a period of 3 years from the date of the TET examination.

REET Full Form: Age Limit

As per the REET Exam 2022 notification, there is no age limit for candidates to appear for the exam.

REET Exam Certificate is issued to the candidates qualifying for the exams. Once the results are out, the certificate is issued. REET Selection Process

Earlier, the ratio of the weightage carried by the REET results and the academic results of the candidates considered in their Selection for a job was 70:30. That means, the REET results would carry 70% weightage and the academic results would carry 30% weightage during the selection process of the candidates for the government teaching jobs.

However, this weightage system has been revised and now it is 90:10. That means, now the REET will have 90% weightage and the academic results will have only 10 % weightage during the selection process.
