The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) has announced the implementation of REET Normalization 2025 for the REET Exam 2025. Since the Level 2 REET Exam 2025 was conducted in two shifts over two days, variations in the difficulty level of the REET Question Papers 2025 are expected. To ensure a fair and objective REET Result 2025, the BSER has introduced the Normalization Process, which will adjust candidates’ scores based on exam difficulty, ensuring an equitable evaluation for all test-takers.
What is REET Normalization 2025?
The Normalization Process is a statistical method used to adjust scores measured on different scales, ensuring fair and rationalized results. The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) will implement REET Normalization 2025 to ensure that candidates who appeared in different shifts of the REET Exam 2025 are evaluated on a balanced parameter. This method considers the difficulty level of each shift and applies a specific formula to calculate normalized scores. Normalization has already been adopted in major government exams like CTET and SSC, ensuring an equitable evaluation process for all candidates.
Why is REET Normalization 2025 Required?
This year, the REET Level 2 Exam 2025 was conducted over two days (27th and 28th February 2025) in three different shifts, leading to variations in difficulty levels across shifts. Since the Level 1 exam had only one shift, the REET Normalization 2025 process will not apply to it. However, for Level 2, where the difficulty varied between shifts, normalization ensures fair and unbiased results. Experts have previously noted similar discrepancies in REET 2022, where one shift was more challenging than others. To eliminate such concerns, the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) has introduced REET Normalization 2025. Candidates can check their REET Result 2025 after normalization on the official BSER website using their login credentials.
