RRB PGT Teacher Age Limit
The age limit for RRB PGT Teacher posts across various disciplines is 18 to 48 years, with the lower and upper age limits reckoned as of 1st January 2025. For eligibility, the upper date of birth limit is 02/01/1977 for UR & EWS, 02/01/1974 for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 02/01/1972 for SC/ST. The lower date of birth limit for all categories is 01/01/2007. Candidates must ensure their date of birth falls within these parameters, as specified in the vacancy table.
RRB PGT Teacher Age Relaxation
Age relaxation for RRB PGT Teacher posts is provided to ensure fair opportunities for candidates from various categories. SC/ST candidates receive up to 5 years of relaxation, while OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates are eligible for up to 3 years. PwBD candidates enjoy significant relaxation, with 10 years for UR & EWS, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST. Ex-Servicemen receive age relaxation based on their length of service, extending up to 8 years for SC/ST and 6 years for OBC. For instance, an SC candidate aged 53 or an OBC candidate aged 46 can still qualify under the relaxation rules.
