Application Process
The candidates have to access, fill out and submit the SSB Odisha PGT Teacher Application Form, to apply for the SSB Odisha PGT Teacher Exam 2023. Written Exam
Next, the candidates must appear for a written exam in offline mode. They have to answer 100 Questions worth 150 marks in 90 minutes. Final Selection
The final selection of the candidates for the SSB Odisha PGT Teacher Recruitment 2023 will determine the performance of the candidates in the exam and the marks obtained in the career assessment. The total marks allotted to the SSB Odisha PGT Teacher Selection Process is 200 marks (150 Marks for written marks and 50 marks for career assessment). SSB Odisha PGT Teacher Selection Process Important Rules
In the following section, the candidates will find some rules and guidelines which are important to calculate marks for the career assessment and or tie-breaking conditions.
- In the case of posts of PGT in a subject where B. Ed. Qualification is not mandatory, career assessment in respect of Post Graduation shall be done out of 30 marks.
- In the case of Post Graduation / B. Ed., if a candidate has secured 70% marks in aggregate in Post Graduation / B.Ed., his/her career mark in Post Graduation / B.Ed. shall be calculated as follows:
70% of 15=10.5
- In the case of CGPA, the same shall be converted into an equivalent % of Marks as per the conversion formula of the degree-awarding University/Institution.
- In case of a tie for the final selection of candidates, the marks secured in the written test shall be taken into consideration. If there is a second tie, then the aggregate percentage of marks secured in the Post Graduate Examination will be considered. In case of a further tie, the aggregate percentage of marks secured in the Graduate Examination (Degree/+3) shall be considered. In case of a still further tie, the aggregate percentage of marks secured in +2/ Higher Secondary level and Matriculation level will be considered sequentially to resolve the tie.
