The medium of Question Papers (Paper I and Paper II) will be in Tamil and English except Paper II of language subjects (Tamil, Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam, Sanskrit, Telugu and Urdu). TN SET Qualifying Marks
To qualify for TN SET, passing marks in both Paper I and Paper II are required. The minimum overall percentage needed is 40% for general categories and 35% for reserved categories. However, these are just qualifying marks, not the final cut-off score for selection, which is usually higher.
